July 4: Independence Day Extravaganza
Salute at Sunset River Parade: Salute all military branches with a river parade featuring dozens of decorated floats starting at 8 p.m.
Stars and Stripes Concert at the Alamo: Enjoy live music from the U.S. Air Force Rock Band and a spectacular drone show.
Woodlawn Lake Park Fireworks: The city’s official celebration includes all-day fun and a dazzling fireworks show.
July 2: Paleta and Popsicle Pop-Ups From noon to 2 p.m., enjoy free paletas and popsicles from six pop-up kiosks on Houston Street.
July 2 and 6: Star-Spangled Movies By Moonlight Enjoy classic movies like “The Sandlot” and “Armageddon” from 7:30-10 p.m. at Travis Park. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
July 4: Fourth of July Artisan Show Explore handmade merchandise from vendors along the River Walk extension from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
July 5-7: Fiesta Noche del Rio Experience cultural performances at the Arneson River Theatre along the River Walk from 8:30-10:30 p.m.
